About Pioneer Lodge & Log Cabins

Pioneer Lodge & Log Cabins

Located in Queens County, New Brunswick, Canada, Pioneer Lodge & Log Cabins is located about an hour from the major cities of Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John. It has become a highly sought-after destination for hunters and anglers, as well as couples and families looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

There are two log cabins that are available for rent. Each cabin is fully equipped for everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

Both of the cabins have two rooms: enter into the living area with a wood burning fireplace for those cozy nights, and a kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals. The second room has two queen sized beds and a full bathroom.

Cool off by the pool during those hot New Brunswick summers!

Inside the Lodge you can curl up with a book in front of our large fire place, or enjoy a glass of wine at the bar.

History of the Lodge

In 1959 the Barton family built the lodge to create accommodations specifically for hunters and anglers. Since then, the lodge has been visited by tourists from all over the world, in addition to hunters, anglers and bird watchers.

In 2004 Barbara and Lutz Neumann from Germany purchased Pioneer Lodge & Log Cabins, they ran the business as a family business offering a variety of packages for accommodations, outdoor activities and German fine dining.

In 2019 Adam Neid and Amanda Race have taken ownership of the Pioneer Lodge. Adam is originally from British Columbia, and is a recent retired military veteran with 18 years of service in the infantry. Amanda is from Newfoundland and an experienced Fundraiser and Event Planner. Upon meeting in Edmonton AB over their shared love of softball, they are excited to be making the big move to New Brunswick together for this new adventure!
